TranspoNet Pneumatic Tube Stations

Adapt your TranspoNet system to your requirements with different types of pneumatic tube stations. Stations enable sending and receiving of laboratory samples, blood products, medication, documents, supplies, and other materials.

For the labs – OpenLog+ Station

Reducing turnaround time is a key performance indicator for laboratory efficiency when it comes to laboratory performance in specimen analysis. The OpenLog+ station for our pneumatic tube system TranspoNet enables hospitals to obtain test results faster and reduce hospitalisation time for patients through fully automated sample unloading. As a result, hospitals can improve the quality of care for their patients and achieve a rapid return on investment.

We also offer the specifically developed SmartOpen pneumatic tube carrier to match the pneumatic tube station.

In addition, you can connect your OpenLog+ station directly to the testing process, achieving a new level of automation in your laboratory. The OpenLog Lab Interface seamlessly transfers previously automatically unloaded samples directly to the starting point of the actual analysis workflow. This eliminates short manual transportation routes within the laboratory, enhancing overall work efficiency and time savings in the lab.

Q&A

Depending on the station type, a pneumatic tube station has two main functions: sending and receiving. Some stations can also send only or receive only. Through a display, users enter their desired destination. Pneumatic tube stations can be equipped with a card reader to allow access only to authorized persons. This prevents unauthorized removal upon receipt.

The different pneumatic tube stations cover different areas. Laboratories usually have a higher transport volume than other areas. The laboratory stations must be able to cope with this and therefore have different functionalities than, for example, the stations at nursing stations.

Our stations can be used individually to get the most out of your transportation system.

Pneumatic tube stations are accessible to all authorized personnel in a hospital. If the pneumatic tube station has an access management system, authorization usually takes place via a card reader at the pneumatic tube station. Different user groups can be used to restrict access to certain goods, such as narcotics.
